WAAGE Engineering has been manufacturing Edible ( and Non-Edible) Soy bean oil heating tanks for over 10 years.

The tanks can be open top or closed top, rectangular, oblong, round, and can be standing or on-the- side construction.

We manufacture them with coiled nickel-chrome alloy heating elements, centered by hard refractories, are vibro-packed with insulating materials of high thermal conductivity.

Sheathing materials are steel for non-edible soybean oil, and Stainless Steel for edible soybean-oil.

All elements are welded into the submersible heating junction box, and a vertical riser is welded in place to make for a “drop in” heater.

On this type of heater, the controls are mounted in a hinged J.I.C. control enclosure with Nema 12 rated controls.

This type of heater is generally called a drum and barrel heater.

We also make units that are flanged or screw-plug mounted, for through the tank wall mounted.

All have built in level controls to turn off the heat if the soybean oil level falls too low, and all have built in temperature limits and controls.

Where required, the edible soy bean oil heaters are encased in a stainless steel tube to limit the surface area.
